Your tasks
- Determination of the requirements for electrical and mechanical components and services in close co-operation with the specialist departments on the basis of technical specifications, requirement specifications and catchy standards.
- Close co-operation with the technical departments, production, quality management and logistics
- identification, evaluation and development of suppliers, also internationally
- Supplier negotiations, agreement of conditions, drafting of framework and supply agreements and regular monitoring
- Identification and assessment of procurement risks including alternative suppliers and contingency plans
- Market observation to identify new sources of supply and technologies, analysis of purchasing costs and cost optimisation
- Collaboration in the further development of procurement processes
What you bring with you
- Completed technical training in the field of electrical engineering, master electrician, electrical engineer with background knowledge in purchasing
- Experience in technical purchasing preferably in industry, mechanical engineering or renewable energies is advantageous; ambitious young professionals are welcome.
- Sound electrotechnical knowledge, understanding of technical drawings, specifications and standards
- Strong analytical skills, technical affinity and intercultural competence
- German at native speaker level and good command of English
- Proactive, innovative and convincing team player who enjoys working with people
