Your tasks
- Integration and design of systems using PLC programmes for classic battery applications (e.g. self-consumption, peak load reduction, stand-alone grid and control current)
- Design and implementation of data communication protocols (Modbus TCP/IP, CAN bus)
- Planning and design of electrical systems, including power supply and communication
- Identification, assessment and resolution of electrical and communication problems Close co-operation with 2nd and 3rd level support as well as research and development on customer-specific solutions
- Engineering, programming and commissioning of control technology systems in the field of electric vehicle charging technology, battery energy storage systems including FAT and SAT
- Creation of suitable documentation
- Maintenance of the remote maintenance system and support with the digitalisation strategy
What you bring with you
- Completed training as an electrician, electronics technician for energy and building technology, mechatronics technician, further training as a technician or studies in the field of automation, mechatronics, electrical engineering or similar
- Initial professional experience in the fields of power converters, battery technology, EV chargers, process engineering and automation is desirable
- Good knowledge of German and English and willingness to travel
